Shake That And Party! If you're into your Mojito's and Cosmopolitans, come and try the Lucky Voice Cocktail-Making Masterclass
There's more to creating a delicious cocktail than just pouring a few spirits into a glass and giving it a stir. Mixology is an art: get it right and your friends will feel like they’re floating on a champagne supernova after tasting your sumptuous concoction.
That’s where the very special Lucky Voice Cocktail-Making Masterclass comes in. Your group of aspiring glass-shakers will be hosted by an expert mixologist who will brief you on the day's activities before treating you to one of our favourite cocktails and splitting you into two teams. Now is the time to watch carefully and take notes!
Round 1- Learn the basics and create your own gorgeous cocktails
Your bartender will demonstrate how to create one of our gorgeous cocktails before inviting a member of each team to come forward and race against to recreate it. Our expert will mark their efforts and award points to each team.
Three different drinks will be made, including a Mojito and the world-famous Cosmopolitan, meaning you’ll get a taste of some basic bartending techniques such as building, muddling, shaking and straining. After each race team members will get a chance to catch their breath – and enjoy the cocktails they created, of course.
Round 2 - Boom! Shake Shake Shake the Room (Islington and Brighton only)
Team members will take their place behind the bar and perform a couple of flair manoeuvres, such as the Roll Pour and the Behind-The-Head Switch. Marks will be awarded based on ability and added to the team scores.
Round 3 - it's all about the magic mystery ingredients (Islington and Brighton only)
This is the opportunity for you to use the techniques you have learnt from the previous rounds. Each team will be asked to choose two mystery ingredients from a secret selection, before creating a cocktail using your mystery ingredients and the range of spirits and liqueurs on show.
You’ll get time to test your creations before presenting your cocktail to the rest of the party. Marks will be given on taste, use of ingredients, procedure and the presentation of the cocktail.
The event will end with a mystery prize being awarded to the best team based on the marks given for each section! (Islington and Brighton only).

Duration
1.5 to 2 hours. This may vary depending on the size of your group, max 10 persons, prices start from £30.00 per person. Unfortunately we can't offer the Cocktail Masterclass in December because we're going to be busy with all those Christmas parties!
