Our Terms and Conditions

This website is owned and operated by Lucky Voice Group Limited ('Lucky Voice') a company incorporated in England whose registered address is Eastcastle House, 27-28 Eastcastle Street, London W1W 8DH. Lucky Voice is a trade mark owned by Lucky Voice Group Limited.

This is the user agreement that governs your use of this website and the provision of the services we provide you.

Please take time to read these terms as it is important for both of us that you understand our contractual relationship both relating to your use of our website and the services we provide you.

1. Specific Terms relating to the use of Lucky Voice premises
a) Lucky Voice Soho, Islington and Brighton

Booking terms and conditions:

a. We have taken a deposit equal to 50% of the total room hire cost from the card you used to confirm your reservation. This amount will be deducted from your total room hire charges on the occasion of your sing. Should you cancel your reservation with less than 48 hours notice, or fail to arrive, this deposit will be retained by Lucky Voice.

b. Our preference is to receive cancellations by telephone but, we're sorry, cancellation requests left at a voicemail mailbox cannot be guaranteed. Please don't reply to this email with your cancellation request. If you can't telephone, please email your cancellation request, clearly stating your name, venue, booking date and time to hello@luckyvoice.com. Thanks!

c. Your booked arrival time is the time from which you are charged. You are expected to leave your room immediately after your booking has ended.

d. We will not permit entry to anybody under the age of 21. If you are lucky enough to appear younger than 21 please note we only accept a passport as proof of age.

e. We have a minimum drinks spend of £10 per person after 8pm on Friday and Saturday nights, which is applicable to all room bookings and based on the capacity of the room booked.

f. We kindly ask that you do not bring your own drinks to Lucky Voice. Any vessel of alcohol brought in by you and found open on the premises will be taken from you.

g. An optional 12.5% service charge on drinks will be added to your bill.

h. We do not accept stag parties on Lucky Voice premises

Complimentary room hire booking?

a. In the event of a reservation where complimentary room hire has been offered a deposit of £20 will be required for groups of 4-8 singers, a £40 deposit will be payable for 10-15 singers. This deposit can be refunded at any time up to 48-hours before you sing. After this time this deposit becomes non-refundable. This deposit is redeemable against drinks purchased up to the value of the deposit but will not be returned in part (i.e. as change).

b) Lucky Voice Manchester and Cardiff

a. Each room has a maximum capacity which we are legally obliged to enforce. Any guests over and above the maximum capacity of your booking will be permitted entry to the bar, only if space allows. If you continually exceed the maximum amount of people allocated to you room, you may be asked to leave prior to your finishing time and charged in full for your room hire and drinks bill.

b. We have taken payment card details from you. Lucky Voice reserves the right to charge the total room hire to this card if you a) fail to arrive for your booking b) do not make use of your allocated room(s) c) cancel your booking after 5.30pm on the day, a charge of 50% of the room hire will be made if you cancel the booking with less than 24 hours' notice.

c. Any damage to the equipment in Lucky Voice will be paid for on the night: this can include microphones valued at £250 each and any marks made on the seating by high heels, you may also incur a cleaning charge if any unnecessary mess is made by your group.

d. Lucky Voice reserves the right to search bags on entry to the premises.

e. It is forbidden to consume your own food or drink on the premises. If you are caught doing so, you will be ejected from the venue immediately and charged in full for the room hire.

f. Lucky Voice Manchester is not able to admit anyone under the age of 18. Anybody who looks under the age of 21 will be asked for identification - we accept driving license or passport only.

g. You may gain exclusive access to our Lucky Voice bar one hour prior to your session starting - please take advantage of this!

h. You must be in Tiger Tiger and at the entrance to Lucky Voice Pods 15 minutes before your session is due to start. Any lateness may eat into your session time.

i. Our dress code is smart, no scruffy jeans, sportswear or branded trainers will be permitted into the venue. If you are not dressed suitably for a night out then you may be refused entry to the venue and no refund will be given for your karaoke pod.

j. CCTV is in operation in all areas of the Lucky Voice Pods area, you have been warned.

k. An optional 10% service charge on drinks will be added to your bill.

2. General Terms

a. The material displayed on our website is provided without any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its accuracy. To the extent permitted by law, we, other members of our group of companies and third parties connected to us hereby expressly exclude:

  • All conditions, warranties and other terms which might otherwise be implied by statute, common law or the law of equity.
  • Any liability for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage incurred by any user in connection with our website or in connection with the use, inability to use, or results of the use of our website, any websites linked to it and any materials posted on it, including, without limitation any liability for: loss of income or revenue; loss of business; loss of profits or contracts; loss of anticipated savings; loss of data; loss of goodwill; wasted management or office time; and for any other loss or damage of any kind, however arising and whether caused by tort (including negligence), breach of contract or otherwise, even if foreseeable.

This does not affect our liability for death or personal injury arising from our negligence, or our liability for fraudulent misrepresentation or misrepresentation as to a fundamental matter, or any other liability which cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

b. The English courts will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any claim arising from, or related to, these terms or to a visit to our website although we retain the right to bring proceedings against you for breach of these conditions in your country of residence or any other relevant country. These terms of use are governed by English law.

3. Terms relating to Website use

The following terms apply to your general use of our website:

a. Access to our website is permitted on a temporary basis, and we reserve the right to withdraw or amend the service we provide on our website without notice (see below). We will not be liable if for any reason our website is unavailable at any time or for any period.

From time to time, we may restrict access to some parts of our website, or our entire website, to users who have registered with us.

If you choose, or you are provided with, a user identification code, password or any other piece of information as part of our security procedures, you must treat such information as confidential, and you must not disclose it to any third party. We have the right to disable any user identification code or password, whether chosen by you or allocated by us, at any time, if in our opinion you have failed to comply with any of the provisions of these terms of use.

When using our website, you must comply with the provisions of our acceptable use policy.

You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to have access to our website. You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our website through your internet connection are aware of these terms, and that they comply with them.

b. We are the owner or the licensee of all intellectual property rights in our website, and in the material published on it. Those works are protected by copyright laws and treaties around the world. All such rights are reserved.

You may print off one copy, and may download extracts, of any page(s) from our website for your personal reference and you may draw the attention of others within your organisation to material posted on our website.

You must not modify the paper or digital copies of any materials you have printed off or downloaded in any way, and you must not use any illustrations, photographs, video or audio sequences or any graphics separately from any accompanying text.

Our status (and that of any identified contributors) as the authors of material on our website must always be acknowledged.

You must not use any part of the materials on our website for commercial purposes without obtaining a licence to do so from us or our licensors.

If you print off, copy or download any part of our website in breach of these terms of use, your right to use our website will cease immediately and you must, at our option, return or destroy any copies of the materials you have made.

c. Commentary and other materials posted on our website are not intended to amount to advice on which reliance should be placed. We therefore disclaim all liability and responsibility arising from any reliance placed on such materials by any visitor to our website, or by anyone who may be informed of any of its contents.

d. We aim to update our website regularly, and may change the content at any time. If the need arises, we may suspend access to our website, or close it indefinitely. Any of the material on our website may be out of date at any given time, and we are under no obligation to update such material.

e. We process information about you in accordance with our privacy policy. By using our website, you consent to such processing and you warrant that all data provided by you is accurate.

f. Whenever you make use of a feature that allows you to upload material to our website, or to make contact with other users of our website, you must comply with the content standards set out in our acceptable use policy. You warrant that any such contribution does comply with those standards, and you indemnify us for any breach of that warranty.

Any material you upload to our website will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary, and we have the right to use, copy, distribute and disclose to third parties any such material for any purpose. We also have the right to disclose your identity to any third party who is claiming that any material posted or uploaded by you to our website constitutes a violation of their intellectual property rights, or of their right to privacy.

We will not be responsible, or liable to any third party, for the content or accuracy of any materials posted by you or any other user of our website.

We have the right to remove any material or posting you make on our website if, in our opinion, such material does not comply with the content standards set out in our acceptable use policy.

g. You must not misuse our website by knowingly introducing viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs or other material which is malicious or technologically harmful. You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our website, the server on which our website is stored or any server, computer or database connected to our website. You must not attack our website via a denial-of-service attack or a distributed denial-of service attack.

By breaching this provision, you would commit a criminal offence under the Computer Misuse Act 1990. We will report any such breach to the relevant law enforcement authorities and we will co-operate with those authorities by disclosing your identity to them. In the event of such a breach, your right to use our website will cease immediately.

We will not be liable for any loss or damage caused by a distributed denial-of-service attack, viruses or other technologically harmful material that may infect your computer equipment, computer programs, data or other proprietary material due to your use of our website or to your downloading of any material posted on it, or on any website linked to it.

h. You may link to our home page, provided you do so in a way that is fair and legal and does not damage our reputation or take advantage of it, but you must not establish a link in such a way as to suggest any form of association, approval or endorsement on our part where none exists.

You must not establish a link from any website that is not owned by you.

Our website must not be framed on any other website, nor may you create a link to any part of our website other than the home page. We reserve the right to withdraw linking permission without notice. The website from which you are linking must comply in all respects with the content standards set out in our acceptable use policy.

Golden Ticket Holder Terms and Conditions

Golden ticket holders at Lucky Voice Islington and Brighton are entitled to two hours of free singing for themselves and up to 14 guests Sunday – Thursday.  Golden ticket holders at Lucky Voice Soho are entitled to two hours of free singing for themselves and up to 11 guests Sunday – Wednesday.

To secure a Golden Ticket booking, a deposit of £20 is required for less than 8 people and £40 for more than 8 people. The deposit is redeemed against the drinks bill. Bookings are subject to availability. 

Lucky Voice Promotion Terms and Conditions

Personal identification must be given at the time of booking and shown at the venue on the night to qualify for every promotion.  Neighbour's Night requires proof of postcode, the free round of Birthday Cocktails require proof of birth date, and Worthy Workers requires proof of workplace for the booker only.

All promotions and special offers advertised on the Lucky Voice website are subject to availability.  Promotions and special offers are only valid with new bookings and cannot be added to an existing booking.  If a customer has already made a booking, they are not entitled to cancel an existing booking to re-book at the promotional rate or to qualify for a special added value offer. Promotions offering free or discounted room hire are exclusive of the cost of drinks.

For the Neighbour's Night promotion on Wednesdays, the 50% off applies to the first 2 hours of room hire only.  Customers wanting to stay on after the initial 2 hours will pay the full advertised room hire price.

For free promotions, the customer is not entitled to more than is stated in the offer.  The Monday Worthy Worker promotion is for a maximum of 2 hours singing and the free round of Birthday Cocktails is for 1 round of cocktails per birthday booking.  Only 1 promotion can be used at a time, offers cannot be used in conjunction with other special offers.
